I am a portrait of you
That's what kept flying through my ears
Even before I learnt to walk or talk
But each time I cast my mind back
The structure that you tried to put up,
The foundation you laid
Has fallen completely apart by your own hands
So how can I be a chip of the old block
When you put everything to self- destruct?
Your house was washed ashore
By your own raged waves
You stored anger
On the anchor that was meant
To hold the storm in your sails
So she, the one you carelessly sent off your ship,
Joined another sail and Surfed to a treasure island
And now you are wrecked
Left alone on a no man's land
Trying to find your way back home
From being washed ashore to loneliness and regrets
Abandoned your only son in the middle of no where
With his feet dangling in the air
Struggling to swim away from
This deserted barren piece of land
Suffocating and gasping for breath
To escape drowning in this
Sands of time
This quicksand you planted
Under my feet has reached
The peak of cultivation
And it keeps yielding hold backs
And blockages from attaining goals
Embrace me into your warm arms
You are made of thorns and ice
Always cold towards me
Like you love me more than life
Stay away from me,I want to be with you
I despise you, you are my first love
You showed me no love
Yet I can not hate you
For blood they say is thicker than water
