A Revolution On The West Coast

Help me eliminate the king
To kill the king for no reason?
This is a big treason

The king has done nothing
But rules with the hand made from iron
To eliminate him,let's summon

His entire royal blood line
And eliminate all of them with him,
Tie them to the shrine

Call upon the great oracle
To come down and perform a miracle
Maybe send down fire rains

To consume the special feast
Which is in the form of royals
Or maybe unleash a beast

To appear from no where
To come and feast the royal feast
As I watch pathetic king

Aklika the iron ruler die
The fire consumer being consumed by fire
Sinking, and gasping for breath

As we watch in delight
What a joy this day will bring
To the village and beyond

All they wish for is
The death of the cruel king Aklika
As they watch him suffer

They just can't wait for
The very day the peace maker himself
Will finally rest in peace

The day the man who
Never knew peace in his life time
Will finally rest in one

His body lying in pieces
Miserably with his entire family peacefully rotten
With scavengers doing the postmortem

That is the only cry
Of his very own once beloved people
Who now wish his death

The death of the king
Who made earth hell for his people
And died in cold blood

On his own crowned throne
By the very people who crowned him
The king of peace

And the king of peace
Laid in pieces with his whole family
End of the tragic story

Hymns Of Praise

Once upon a hallucination
I met her not in my dreams
But I held her in my arms
Her breath was so cool
Like the harmattan wind
Her voice was like a host of angels
Singing hymns of praise

I listened as she sang in chorus
To my uninterrupted attention
She calmed the winds with
Her walks as her majestic feet
Touched the soils of mother earth
Her eyes were burning like the sun
As I stared through them I froze
She burned me with her
Cold,tender and loving arms
I never wanted this to end
I wanted it to last for eternity
But I guess I was never right from wrong

I wish I could go back in time and
Turn back the hands of time
So that she could be mine forever
I wish we could walk in the clouds
Play hide and seek in the moon
For the world to see the
Reflection of our love in
The moon light at night
I wish we could take a cold shower
Together inside the sun
So the the world will jealous
The warmness of our hearts

I know we are meant to be
Meant to be in a different world
Which is yet to come
Our love story is archaic
Old like the Egyptian pyramids
Until yesterday comes back
I will never see you again
For all I saw only happened
In a once upon a dream

Tears Of A Poet

I hide behind the dark nights
The dark clouds under my eyes
I hide the pain when I say
Your name but the pain in me
Is still the same, my rocky heart
Pours down heavily any time I sit
Under my roof in secrecy
I hide my emotions behind that smile
Sitting alone, I think less
I think about you, I think about the world
I think about us
Sitting on the walls of my heart,
My emotions flow like a cascading water fall
Pouring from my eyes like a rolling stone,
Flowing like a raging fire.

With mixed feelings I shed tears
No body can understand
The reason behind the tears of the poet
No body understands our emotions except us
We cry because we are happy
We laugh because we are sad
This is not a poem
It is a lamentation of a poet
This poem has no poet
This poem was not written
This poem was cried out
Penned down by billions of flowing inks
Blue inks and gay inks
This poem shall linger in our hearts
It shall be forgotten not

This poem calls for change
Turning back the hands of time
Erasing the prints in the sands of time
To right our wrongs
We write the wrongs
In history and forget about the rights
We have rights, yet lawlessness is what we enjoy
We cry in pain
Yet our tears flow in vain
The cries of the writer pours like rain
At every every single stare of the world

Our tears pour for the world
Through our inks we cry for the world
We shed our blood
Through the living words flowing through us
Passing through our veins
And coming out as colourful inks
We cry for our selves
We cry for the world
The words of a poet
Are the voices of the world
The tears of the Poet
Is the cries of the world
The world is dumb, it can speak
Yet it can not be heard
Who is a poet?, you may ask

A poet is not a painter
But a writer who paints
The world with colourful words
And this is not a poem
But the tears of the poet
Always remember that these are not writings but
they are tears
Do not read nor recite them, mourn them
Share the joy of the poet
Mourn his pain and celebrate his joy

AFRICA

Tears flow from my eyes
Running down my cheeks like a waterfall
Pouring down the soils of my home land like rain
My eyes are filled with dust,I am can see clearly
My heart is sinking in sorrow
As I watch my beloved Israel turn Sodom
And there is a thing I could do, I am not helpless
Africa is my home, I have no home
How can I call a house a home
When the sun scorches under my own roof
I blame my people not, they are at fault
Yes they are, after all they have done?
We still live up to them
We embrace Western culture and despises ours
Well, they have a point,we are clueless about
what we have

Africa is not united, we are one
How can we stand up for ourselves
If we do not stand up for our brothers
How can we fight our foes,if we fight ourselves
How can we defend what's ours?
If we value most what's not ours
How can we protect what we have
If we keep fighting for what we do not have
Africa is a land of gold
A land where gold sweeps along the coasts
Yet we live from hand to mouth
Why do we have to beg for what is ours
After taking away all our wealth
They still want to turn our land to hell
Upon tricking us and depriving us of our
properties
They want to drag us to sin
If hell is such a nice place,
Why don't you enjoy the comfort alone
But rather you try to drag Gods people along with
you to Sodom and Gomorrah
Where a man can be free to marry a fellow man
A woman is free to marry a fellow woman
Why? How can we encourage homosexuality and
lesbianism?
Such an abomination to nature

Oh Africa! Precious Africa
With all these blatant lies
All these years of severe slavery and servitude
Which came along with hardship, torture and pain
All these years of our children living
Under the roof of the open, exposing their ribs to
the scorching sun
All this misconceptions about black's
All these discriminations,calling us animals
Yet we still value western culture
Every thing from the Western world is the best
Oh why Africa? Where is our courage?
Where is our pride?, we have nothing
Yet through us they got all the precocious
stones
Took away our women and branded our customs
barbaric
Upon all the blood shed?
As if that was not enough, Africans
My people,Why have you turned away from God?
Man taking his fellow man to bed
Women taking their fellow women to the isle
Which is more barbaric my people
Africa,a land of gold filled with milk and honey
Yet we lack,we are wealthy

My people not all glitters is gold
Is this the land Yaa Asantewaa stood up for?
Are these the sons and daughters of Ghadaffi?
The descendants of Nelson Mandella,
Osagyifo Dr Kwame Nkrumah
Mugabe,Mbeki,J.J.Rawlings
Kofi Annan,Okomfo Anokye
Born with the fusion of great leadership,
Bravery, wisdom and the spirit of change
Where are these your sons Oh Mother Africa
Your sons have turned against each other
Breaking your heart,breaking Gods heart
Oh why? Africa! Mama Africa
God in his own wisdom created a woman for
man
Who are you to change that?
Are you superior to God?
God have mercy on your poor souls
This sin of an abomination
Has existed centuries ago even before your
arrivalarrival

You came to tarnish our culture and branded
Africans as inhuman
So why then do you want us to legalise such an
abominable sin
And an inhuman act, May God forgive us all

The Sacrilege

Our crushing lips
Left behind
Broken hearts,
Opened scars,
Deep wounds,
Pain
Tears like rain
War in heaven
Fought on earth
Leaving no demons
In hell
They are here with us

We fell in love
And hated each other
No love found
In our beautiful romance
A Bad romance it was
A tragedy of a love story
Come-tragedy
A madrigal
Together we wrote
An elegy
The world sang

Epitaphs
Engraved
On tombs
Roses,
Scattered
On graves
War of love
That brought
Disaster
We fought for
Love
And gained hatredhatred

Abominable love
Day loving night
Darkness
Embracing
Light
Death
Kissed
Life
An irony of fate
Destiny
Cheats on nature

The world trembled
The earth opened
Its jaws and swallowed
Everything in it
The seas rose
Like mountains
The moment our lips hugged
Every thing became
Vise versa
Things went back
To their right place
Heavens was filled
With dust
And earth with clouds

She was an agent
Of the dark
An angel of Hades
And I was for the light
Our love was a clash
Of light and darkness
No body won
But the world will
Have to suffer
The consequences
This is just the beginning
Of the love story
That will change
The world

Fair for a fire fly

Everyday I peep
Through my window
Just to steal
Glances at her.
I always love
To catch a glimpse
Of her beauty
Especially
When she appears
Early in the morning
To welcome
The beginning
Of a new day
With
A broad smile!
Her smile alone
Sets the world
Aglow!
Her beauty kills
The dark night
And illuminates
The world
With golden rays.
Looking up, I see
How she burns
Like a billion
Fireflies
From heaven
Above!
Like a cluster
Of stars
Twinkling
Glittering
Like gold pieces
Scattered across
Heavens path!
A beauty she is,
Flowing
Down like a
Waterfall
Beautiful like
Paradise.
I call her
Beauty of the day,
Mother of light;
Beautiful and powerful
You can watch her.
From a million
Miles away
But you can't get
Closer.
Dare get any closer?
You turn to
Ashes.
Extremely beautiful
You can't stare
For long.
Beauty that
Blinds.
Glorious!
Gorgeous!
And mighty
Just a ray from
Her bright smile
Through the morning dew
Summons the rainbow.
Her round spherical
Face,
Oh! So adorable.
I love her,
I am in love
With nature.

DO YOU REMEMBER

Do you remember?
Do you remember the days?
When all we understood was war
And every food was eaten raw
With no body in mind to call lover
And anger boiling in our veins like larva
All that enveloped our hearts was anger
And we never felt hunger
Going into our caves like planes in a hangar
With animal skins hanging every where like a hanger

Do you remember the days?
When we were kept in exile
Like bloody traitors whose fate hung on the toss of a coin
And we grew as old as gold
Without even catching cold
From the angry cool breeze of the rising waves
Even though we slept inside caves
We had nothing flowing like taps
All we enjoyed was the palm wine we used to tap

Do you remember the days?
Where we were sold as slaves
And our arms were measured in sleeves
With an atmosphere filled with terror
Hoping for somebody to have corrected this error
So we consulted  Delphi
And all we waited for was a miracle
But our cries couldn't be heard
Making as feel like sheep with out a Shepherd

Do you remember the days?
Where we sacrificed our offsprings
To the gods as offerings
 There was nothing like Christianity
And there was no regard for humanity
We waited for an opportunity
To stop this insanity
They hated the name "Jehovah"
And they awaited reign of the so called "Hover"
But thank God these bloody days are over
Unto a new fate we hand over our body and souls
We will never see those days again
Our redemption and freedom, we have gained
We are on a new path,we are serging forward
Like a troop of soldiers matching onwards
We will never turn back
And nothing will ever move us aback
